Cotton knit jumper/poncho/tabard with wide arm holes

I'm about to have a second surgery on my arm. First time round, I spent weeks wearing my dad's old shirts with the sleeve cut off.

Please help me avoid this look for Christmas!

I've done lots of searching to no avail. Has anyone got/seen a cotton top with batwing or very wide sleeves, or sleeveless but with big arm holes? Can you point me towards it if you have?

I'm allergic to polyester and nylon which is what is making this particularly difficult.

Oh, and I've only got a low budget: £40 max

Eek, finding something that fits the bill and is made from natural materials is hard at that price point!

There's quite a few potential options (though the need sifting for actual fabric composition' from googling oversized wool sweater vest' and 'oversized cotton sweater vest'.

Cos have some interesting knitted vests that have no arm holes (think fashion forward tabard) but you’d need something under them.

Esprit was a good shout and I don't know why I didn't think to look there given that a lot of their knitwear is cotton.

I've found a tank type thing similar to the one you linked @waltzingparrot and a dress with very wide short sleeves in the sale
