Want my bum to look bigger in jeans

Is there anything I can do?
Any jeans to make an ass look a bit (or a lot) perkier and curvier.

I am slim and in my high waist 'mom' jeans my butt is as flat as a pancake.

OP posts:

You can get pants with padding!

MistySkiesAfterRain · 17/12/2021 08:27

Next lift slim and shape!

OhRosalind · 17/12/2021 08:46

I’m slim and mom jeans do this to me too. A different cut with a slightly lower rise makes all the difference, I like straight leg or slightly flared from & Other Stories, Levi’s (501s) and Rouje.

BumbleBeeBumbum · 17/12/2021 08:48

The H&M embrace range has done wonders for me! x

Allsorts1 · 17/12/2021 09:04

Do deadlifts and lunges - grow your butt the natural way 😉

RampantIvy · 17/12/2021 09:10

I want mine to look smaller Grin

Dolphinnoises · 17/12/2021 09:12

Cake?

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 17/12/2021 09:13

I have the same problem except in everything. I have no arse at all.

WimpoleHat · 17/12/2021 09:14

If only I could give you a bit of mine, OP - definitely the opposite problem here! 😂

Capricornandproud · 17/12/2021 09:15

God I wished, cant contain the damn thing. Mental that its now fashionable after the Noughties and the Gwyneth look!

AstroBunny · 17/12/2021 10:12

Stop being a fashion victim and forego the fugly denim. I swerved the current trend to bin the skinnies for frankly dreadful mum or boyfriend jeans, despite having a sizeable backside, as nothing is as flattering on the butt as my Paige Verdugo skinnies 🤷🏻‍♀️

(DH would also divorce me if I wore the horrors that are mum jeans. They are called ‘mum’ jeans for a reason. They are frumpy and no one wants a ‘mum bum’).

HundredMilesAnHour · 17/12/2021 10:13

Doing squats every day will make a visible difference.

Whereas I think skinny jeans look frumpy these days.

We're all into different things!

Vapeyvapevape · 17/12/2021 10:20

I have no bum at all just legs that go up to my waist, I am as I am and I’m pretty sure no one else cares about the size of my bum !

RampantIvy · 17/12/2021 10:22

I don't. Plenty of people still wear them where I live - more practical for tucking into wellies/boots when tramping around muddy fields.

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 17/12/2021 10:25

OP, I think 501s are very bum flattering.

“Practical” and “tramping around muddy fields” doesn’t scream style to me.
RampantIvy · 17/12/2021 11:33

No it doesn't, but I still think they look good anyway.

On you, maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️

I look freakin’ awesome in mine 😁

RaininSummer · 23/12/2021 09:13

I know it's the fashion now but it still makes me laugh when I think of the past 40 years of my chunky arse not being the trend. Sooo unfair.

KirstenBlest · 23/12/2021 09:48

My bum is perfect. Nice and comfy too sit on, and I don't need to look at it

ExConstance · 23/12/2021 11:39

Another vote for Levi 501's My DH usually notices nothing about what I wear, but he did notice how great my rather flat bum looked in my new Levis.

GettingStuffed · 23/12/2021 12:07

I spent my early fashion years asking does my bum look big in this, but the answer you wanted was no, unfortunately as an hourglass the answer was always yes. Now I've lost my curves and have a flat bum so the answer should be yes but it's no. My body has always been the opposite of what's in fashion but you really need to accept your body and if you want to look like you have a bigger bum then accept that even lift and padding there won't be much of an improvement.

Yeah man. Gives you a lovely rear Grin

Visible in “mom” jeans?

I do a lot of squats with heavy weights and my bum is perky but it hasn’t got any bigger. Thankfully.
