Are double-breasted jackets always a no-no when you've got huge norks?

I was freezing today, and I saw a lovely green double-breasted jacket HALF PRICE in Laura Ashley's sale.

I am small (height-wise) but I have 34E boobs. I tried the jacket on and I just looked like I had a massive monoboob.

The jacket had a high neck too.

Is it the high neck or the double breastedness of it that made made me look ridiculous?

Just so I know what not to try on when I go back into town tomorrow.

No can do, I fear. I am often tempted but the boobular cannot get away with them.

Same with polo necks. So the combination of a double breasted coat and a high neck is a double whammy of monoboob.
