Do the excess beauty advent calendars go into sale?

I can't remember? Do they normally get reduced and sold in January? (Eg the cult beauty, space nk etc)

I don’t know, but I hope someone comes along to say yes!

In my experience they usually limit quantity enough that there is excess demand, not excess product, many of them sellout in October.

I also think it would be a bad marketing move on their part as it somewhat devalues them to see them sold cheaply in January - if you had paid full price you might be put out, and it also might make people wonder if it was a bad product and thats why they have the discount them to shift them.

Places like SpaceNK would probably prefer to harvest the advent calendar for products that can be used as rewards for their members, free samples for qualifying orders, or even save them for next years calendar if they have a long enough life.

Not sure but I bought a fab beauty one today in M&S. £40 when you spent £30. Has some lovely cleanser/ moisturiser/ serums etc. well worth the money.

The Holland and Barrett ones certainly did - I think it was 2 years ago that I bought a bunch of them half price. Not sure of any others though.

My first cult beauty advent calendar went missing with the courier and it took a good while for CB to locate and dispatch another, in fact I only received it on Wednesday (and it’s pretty shabby), which leads me to believe they don’t have stacks of leftover calendars in their warehouse.

I've just bought the revolution one reduced in superdrug. £120 reduced to £40.

I bought a YSL/Lancome one half price, 49 quid, a few years ago. Still using the products.

If you use The Company shop they are currently selling the M&S Beauty Advent calendar for £30 or 2 for £50.

The net-a-porter one is still on sale...for £225. It's interesting to see if they'll reduce it or just take it off sale to save face. There's loads of Harrods, Liberty,Space NK etc still on eBay too. I suppose it serves the greedy twats right if no-one buys them. All the luxury ones didn't sell out for ages this year.

I've seen the Molton brown one in their outlet before. But it wasn't a big enough reduction to be tempting.
The bottles of Xmas scented stuff were greatly reduced and I went a bit wild

I expect they would use the contents for beauty boxes instead.

I seem to recall it had a scrunchie for one of the days. And stickers.

A lot are sold out but I think feel unique is reduced as well as by terry

You might find some of the cheaper ones on boots and on feel unique they also do the Lumene one which I've loved previously

Chardonnayspetdragon, if I remember correctly that was the year of the House of Fraser funnel. I usually have the M and S Advent calendar and every morning without fail my DH says, " Ah, but still no funnel," in a pretend consoling voice. 🤣🤣
