I think they're pants as I've never had a good bra from M&S. Why not try your local lingerie shop and get fitted properly by someone who knows everything there is to know about bras? It'll cost you more than M&S but should be worth every penny.

donnie · 18/12/2007 18:23

their bras are crap and never fit!!

southeastastra · 18/12/2007 18:30

ah glad it's not just me! yes think the time has come for me to invest in one properly.

Pile of poo, particularly for big norks. The only ones they have in bigger sizes are the 'minimiser' ones that take your nork and redistribute it under the armpit. Nice. Not.

Go to Rigby & Peller. It is so worth it.

lol frogs.

i imagine r & p are very expensive aren't they?

go to debenhams and get one by Fantasie, they are made in the same factory as R + p bras. I used to work for R + P.

Or Freya bras are good. R + P is expensive but do stock loads of brands.

Lizzzombie · 18/12/2007 19:27

M&S are rubbish unless you have the right shaped & sized boobs for their bras.
Get yourself fitted up properly.

R&P
John Lewis'
Bravissimo
(some) Debenhams..depends on who you get.

If you live in Northampton, the R&P & Freya & Fantasie factory has a factory shop I believe. Much cheaper.

They may be expensive compared to M&S etc, but its soooo worth it. You look a million dollars when you get your boobs in the right place!

southeastastra · 18/12/2007 19:33

i'll check out debenhams have one near. thanks for the tip also pirate.

does seem daft not to invest in something that's worn everyday. i wore the m&s one all day, it was so painful!

frogs · 18/12/2007 19:34

Expensive, yes, but my god, so worth it. You come out looking as if you've lost a stone and a half, and acquired new boobs. Feast your eyes on this, which is what I am currently wearing.

southeastastra · 18/12/2007 19:36

that's very pretty frogs

And comfy, SEA. And creates an immensely flattering cleavage.

You know you want to.

NadineHumbug · 18/12/2007 19:39

they are no different to anyone elses

I was measured in Selfridges just recently (no tape measure) and they tried, unsuccessfully, to get a bra to fit me properly - fantasie etal and they cost a shed load of cash too.

Went to M&S and got measured (with tape) and came up the same size - she fit me in one of their bras straight away best fit all day, and believe me I'd tried on hundreds! only trouble was I like a t-shirt bra I do, and this wasn't a t-shirt bra. For some reason t-shirt bras seem to be much bigger than ordinary ones - odd that.

PirateInaPeartree · 18/12/2007 19:53

all bras are different. like jeans, they all have different styles and cuts.

A good bra fitter will help you find a style to suit you.
