my sister bought me some saying it was wonderful and I am sure it is but not sure what to do. HAve slathered it over my face as it is so dry at the minute but few hours later I am still looking greasy!

My heels and my hands. It stinks to high heaven but works wonders

I found it too greasy too. It's like coal tar smelling vasaline. Didn't do much for me, also found it just left a nice greasy face print on my pillow case and just made my hair, and any other air borne partical, stick to my face.

I use it as a lip balm, on my hands when they are very dry, on chapped skin for me and DS. It is great but as you've found not when applied to your whole face!

dry/chapped lips
elbows
dd gets red, sore patches under her nose when she has a cold and the 8hr cream sorts this out overnight

DS? Don't know where I've acquired a son from! I mean DD

works wonders on spots! I dab it on at night and then it doesnt bother me as I hate the smell of the stuff.

It's supposed to sort out any skin problem overnight (ie in eight hours, hence the name). I use it on my lips during the day, to smooth eyebrows (a teeny weeny bit!) and on dry skin patches. About once a fortnight, AT NIGHT ONLY, I put it all over my face before bed.
