paulaplumpbottom · 18/12/2007 14:40

Not my sort of thing really

walkinginawinterBundleland · 18/12/2007 14:40

not my cup of tea but if they make you happy...

fishie · 18/12/2007 14:47

they are my plan b piffle, but i have an unnatural fear of shiny leather.

OP posts:
isaidhohoho · 18/12/2007 14:47

prefer piffles

nailpolish · 18/12/2007 14:48

oh god the black ones are horrible
black leather is cheap looking

nailpolish · 18/12/2007 14:51

bythat i mean ALL black leather is cheap looking
i own no black leather products

hoxtonchick · 18/12/2007 14:52

not altogether convinced.... camper have some with a similar heel (& an irritating flash website so i can't link).

witchandchips · 18/12/2007 14:54

i'd look at clarks they have got loads of ace boots that i think are much nicer than those

fishie · 18/12/2007 14:55

i am with you np, no shiny black for me. i like the ones in my link because tehy also come in a lovely dark grey.

aren't camper monstrously expensive?

OP posts:
MerryPIFFLEmas · 18/12/2007 14:57

but camper are montrously worth it

walkinginawinterBundleland · 18/12/2007 14:58

i have the red boots on the clarks flashy website, which are camper-esque and only £70

MerryPIFFLEmas · 18/12/2007 15:00

have to confess the style of the boots I do not like either but would trust duo...

hoxtonchick · 18/12/2007 15:07

camper last & last. and they will have a sale soon.

fishie · 18/12/2007 15:08

my sister says clarks is the poor woman's camper, i think she is quite right. i once had some camper shoes and they hurt.

and if i don't go and try on boots i will have to go swimming but it is too cold.

OP posts:
hoxtonchick · 18/12/2007 15:26

go and drink coffee instead. or go to the pub...

walkinginawinterBundleland · 18/12/2007 15:26

boots & coffee sound better than swimming

nailpolish · 18/12/2007 15:28

yes fishie i like grey too

hana · 18/12/2007 15:30

camper boots rock
they will last ages and ages

hoxtonchick · 18/12/2007 15:31

bundle & i know what we're talking about when it comes to both . shoon does camper too doesn't it? are you near marylebone high st - there is a camper just off carnaby st....

witchandchips · 18/12/2007 15:32

campers and clarks last about the same time ime. a season of walking 3 miles + a day with toddler and they have to go in the bin.

walkinginawinterBundleland · 18/12/2007 15:35

(only recently discovered - they also have a fab cafe in bath - do they have one in MHS??)

hoxtonchick · 18/12/2007 15:37

not last time i went in there, but it was a while ago....

fishie · 18/12/2007 15:37

well if my feet won't go in the top of the boot then the problem solves itself.

clarks always have really strange rubbery soles in a nasty beige. why do they do that? i'm can go to floral street camper tomorrow if the shoons don't fit.

OP posts:
hoxtonchick · 18/12/2007 15:40

excellent. definitely too cold for swimming.....
