What would you go for?

I'd like to get myself something that I could still be wearing in 20 years time.

Camel coat or trench. Practical, stylish but understatedly so, and very classy.

Good quality cashmere jumper.

Decent handbag (I got a gorgeous symthson tote reduced for 1k to 350 last year)

A camel coat.

I’d get a smart coat.

Stud earrings with a precious stone in them - I think you'll wear out a coat within 20 years.

Really good classic things don’t tend to end up in the sales. I reckon sales are good for trends.

I know there are exceptions to this in the lower price bracket where I normally shop - good boots or a good jumper

I'm not good at details though. I think I would miss the little things that are the difference between something being timeless and something starting to look dated.

Jaeger coat
