what do you wear?
I like the idea of an all in one, sort of like a nightie but not.
easy to pull on but not pj's.

what to wear for bed and lounging around when you dont want to make effort and prioritise comfort in winter? I hate tight elastic waists and worrying if a pants leg will be too long. I mean this as in not what you'd wear to have guests, but private, home stuff.

I need help cos my pj's are old, holey and fed up.

Nightie and leggings, just standard day wear leggings ones that I've found through Trish and error are not too tight.

XingMing · 08/12/2021 13:32

In winter, usually just a PJ top, unbuttoned. With joggers and socks nearby for getting up to drink tea/read papers.

RainbowBabyForChristmasPlease · 08/12/2021 13:38

Pjs for lounging. Starkers for sleeping.

OhMyCrump · 08/12/2021 13:42

I feel far too vulnerable naked!

WeirdArchitecture · 08/12/2021 13:43

Thanks everyone!

I love the Pure tunic, wish they had other colours.

I dont have short legs but if you see the pic i posted from COS you dont need short legs to suffer this problem.

I envy those of you who can sleep without Grin My family were like that but i evidently didnt take after them!

Lands End Sleep Ts. knee or calf length, long or short sleeves, print or plain. 100% cotton.

These have been my favorite sleepwear for years. You can even Zoom in the dark plain color ones. Smile

RollWithThePunches · 08/12/2021 21:54

I dream of waking up in pjs. But 8 years after hysterectomy I still sweat like a sauna every night and sleep in a vest and only a sheet covering me. I have Christmas pjs to change into when Santa demands the teens get up.

Avarua · 08/12/2021 21:59

I sleep nude and have a luxurious wool duvet.
For around the house in winter I wear a fluffy robe and UGGs.

Avarua · 08/12/2021 22:00

I really hate sleeping in PJs or nighties: too hot and restrictive.

Antsgomarching · 08/12/2021 22:01

Lounging are thin jogger type bottoms and henley style top. Don’t like wearing clothes except knickers in bed.

JaceLancs · 08/12/2021 23:24

I can’t stand pyjamas
I wear nightshirts or non granny style nighties
I also have a range of what DP calls dayies lol - basically soft jersey style dresses

This type of thing for winter - not that I’d pay that but I tend to use up old day wear that’s gone a bit bobbly or might have a slight nark on it - as long as it’s soft and comfortable without a bra or pants

Smorgasborb · 09/12/2021 02:12

I HATE pyjamas. Ridiculous amount of material and I'd get far too hot (I run pretty chilly too!). I also found that when I turn over i end up moving inside the PJs so I'm half strangled o r there's a seam right up my arse/fanjo and I'm hopelessly tangled.

I can only cope with a tight vest to keep tits from migrating and pants. Even in winter and when camping!
