The perfect top/dress for new years eve.

Please can someone help Im looking for a dressy top to go with leather leggings, would also consider a dress. I'm 50, 5'2 a size 14 with big boobs and a belly. I can't seem to carry off blouses or anything too boxy, need to be quite fitted, I also get quite warm so no knitwear or long sleeves. I'm going to a dance so will be quite dressy. If a dress I look awful in anything midi or maxi as I look like a sack of potatoes. Oh and I can't wear heels so that doesn't help. All recommendations gratefully received.

Colours I suit are cobalt blue, green, orange, black. That blouse is nice but would look horrendous on me, I'm quite short armed so those sleeves would long on me and I have a thick waist so I would look like a sack of potatoes tied in the middle.

Oh that's a tricky one! I'd normally go midi or maxi for a more formal affair. But, since that's out, maybe a jumpsuit? A nice one obviously. They can look quite dressy I think.
