Looking for the warmest jacket for below freezing temperatures -

Looked at Canadian Goose and North Face but either too expensive or then a a bit frumpy for a teenager. Seen lots of jackets but many are not truly warm enough abs so have had to do quite a few returns- Based on your experiences, what would you recommend for freezing temperatures?

Thanks everyone for all the links and suggestions/ I am currently going through them all. Appreciate all the experiences of purchases as give a good idea of what actually really works and what to avoid. Much appreciated.
