jeans, a white tshirt and a little black waistcoat? part of me thinks it could look really nice but then there's another part of me that's saying don't do it! what would you think if you saw my ds wearing that?

oh and while i'm here what do you think to little boys who wear braces with their trousers?

personally I would listen to the "don't do it" part of you - sounds very 80's.

OverRated · 17/12/2007 04:20

I wouldn't think anything but I probably wouldn't dress DS in it. Or, more accurately, he wouldn't dress himself in it.

Braces are a very good idea - DS's trousers always fall down no matter how small the adjustable waist is. I doubt he'd tolerate them either

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 17/12/2007 06:06

Was going to ask his age but just looked at your profile. I wouldn't. Sounds to "Mummy is trying to be cool".

Not keen on braces either although can see the logic of them.

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 17/12/2007 06:15

As long as he were comfortable I wouldn't care really...that is the main thing. Braces only if necessary, as I think he might find them uncomfy, I know I would!

ADDICTEDtosayingHAAAAAAAPYxmas · 17/12/2007 09:03

hmmm not trying to be "cool" as such. i do dress him in clothes that are in the fashion - mainly jeans, a tshirt and cardigan. so instead of the cardigan it would just be a waistcoat.

why is part of you saying 'don;t do it'?

does it overall look quite good or not?

ItCameUponAMidnightClara · 17/12/2007 09:07

No, no, no, no, no! Stick to the cardigans

Braces though - hmmm, maybe.

ADDICTEDtosayingHAAAAAAAPYxmas · 17/12/2007 09:08

was thinking of getting this waistcoat not the jeans though.

and these jeans (but not to wear with the waistcoat)

Do you mean the jeans on the left or right? I bought my ds (3) the skinny jeans and he looks like a mini emo in them - I'm so used to seeing him in bggy jeans it's quite funny to see two little skinny legs - I think it's more entertainment for me than style for him though, poor little sod

coldtits · 17/12/2007 15:31

It will look like mummy's been playing dollies again.

ADDICTEDtosayingHAAAAAAAPYxmas · 18/12/2007 23:45

meant the jeans on the right.

I've just had a look at your profile too, Addicted. Was wondering too how old your DS is. Hell, he's only little, that outfit would be fine, honestly, I've got two DS's, they're 8 and 9 and I don't think they'd object to wearing it for a special occasion. Great photos, v. cute DS and looks like lots of fun being had on girlie nights out. Love those.
