If you are a redhead - do you wear red lippy?

I have the urge to try some but wonder if it will make my mouth look small and my teeth look yellow... I generally go for something darkish ‘rose’ coloured.

I like a lip stain, find it easier to where than full on lipstick.

I don't wear much at all these days, but I can recommend these folk for having stuff that is guaranteed to suit! Bit pricey and you have to ship over, but worth it for the mascara alone IMO.

I’m not a red head but have you tried Mac’s ruby woo? It’s classic for suiting everyone. It’s matte and very dry but I do like the look.

At almost £19 it has better make me look like flipping Sophia Loren (back on the day!) or is that how much lippy costs these days?

I'm a mid-dark, strawberry blonde naturally, bleached a but lighter. I wear a really dark burgundy lip gloss sometimes. I am told it suits me, although dh and dd think it looks a bit witchy!

I don't wear red, but if I want a stronger colour I go for a more orangey/coral type red rather than pillar box red.

I’m more Auburn these days but I absolutely wear lipstick. I’ve found either but cheap ones to try out the colours…or buy dupes (got a Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk dupe in Wilco for example)…or…..I found it helpful to go see o No7 and get my foundation matched. They then match lipsticks and blusher to your foundation. I’ve had two red lipsticks using a £5 voucher, but I wear all colours.

I have a coral shimmery lip gloss from an M&S advent calendar that I love.

Also like the Black Honey Almost Lipstick from Clinique.

I don't wear a lot else but mainly because of the texture of normal lipstick.

I adore red heads with bright red lipstick! I think it’s such a look! So bold and confident and it looks absolutely fabulous! Makes me so jealous!

Ruby Woo is perfect - and I'm a strong carrot color! Strangely, magenta also looks great on me. Worth a try ; you may be pleasantly surprised! if you hate it, you can use another color to 'tame' it down.

I do! I like Ruby Woo and also Russian Red for proper lipstick, and Clinique Black Honey or NARS Tanganyka (sp?) in sheer. My hair is copper coloured with a bit of gold-ish balayage left in the ends.

I ordered some stuff from YSL last night and qualified for a free liquid lipstick in Rouge Rebel, so hopefully that'll be another for the arsenal 😁

Burts bees do a lovely red.

I am a natural redhead with auburn hair and blue eyes, which means that only warm tones suit me - i.e. tomato red, orangey red or my favourite is rust coloured. Peach and corals are also nice but I wouldn't call them reds! I'd love to wear MAC Ruby Woo but it's cool toned (blue-based) and looks awful on me. Love it on others though.

@RestingMurderousFace I used to have Chili. It was dry. I didn’t like it, made my lips feel horrible and shrivelled.

Yes - very pale skinned redhead with blue eyes, always wore Russian Red, loved it! Very classy colour.
