No longer scoff at Crocs

For the longest time I disliked Crocs (not sure why, I like clogs).

I'm looking for a pair of shoes to wear purely in the kitchen on hard ceramic surface as my feet and joints hurt when I'm walking on it for a long time cooking, washing up etc.

They need to be:-
Wipe clean in case of spills
Able to slip on and off
Wearable with socks,or without socks
Fairly indestructable as I only want to buy them once
Comfortable and cushioned

Crocs seem to fit the bill so I have come round to them. I like the lighter pink and white but is this colour really impractical?

Are there any other shoes I might have missed (under £50)? A leather croc style would work - I like the (KG I think) loafer with oversized resin chain - but they seem to be over £100.

I have a pair that I keep by the back door - great to slip into when the dog needs a wee or I want to go to the compost bin etc.

Brilliant for beach holidays too

Definitely recommend for wearing round the house/garden

I wear crocs and have done so for years. Only as slippers/backdoor shoes or for walking on the beach in summer.

I have several pairs some with jibbits

I shrunk my Crocs in the dishwasher. If you’re going to do it use a 30 not a 70 wash!
