If so, I would like some advice please.
I am trained in a very niche beauty service. I also have many years experience in this service. I was in our local beauty salon the other day and I saw this service on their Price List. I asked the owner about it but she said they were no longer offering the service as they didn’t have anyone to do it. When I told her about my experience she offered me a job on the spot! Well not a job exactly, but freelance work.
We talked for ages about it and how it would work. So basically when they get a request for this service they will call me and I’ll go in and do it. The payment will go through their books and then they’ll pay me my share.
The thing is, when I asked her what she thought was a reasonable split, she didn’t know and said she would be guided by me. I haven’t a clue either!
So I thought I’d ask on here to see if anyone had been in this situation before.
