I love the marine cream, it’s one of my repeat buys.

Babymamaroon · 08/12/2021 20:35

I too love the Marine cream! Fab calendar so far I have to say.

I love the little H pouches too!

Offredismysister · 09/12/2021 08:22

I also love todays, I buy these in the 60 pack, usually when there’s a code floating around. I also only use them 2-3 times a week so they last ages.

supadupapupascupa · 09/12/2021 08:55

They frighten me! Can you explain what they are like to use? Thank you xx

Do they peel off little lines of pore innards??

I've never used these ones before so am intrigued!

AesopsMables · 09/12/2021 11:39

I popped mine back in the drawer with the intention of re-gifting it next year as I always do this each year. Normally there are about 4 left in then I buy small gifts for the other days to pass on to a friend.
however if this is that good will get them out 😆
I too am dubious about anything that makes my skin 'peel'.
Are they that good Offred ?

Offredismysister · 09/12/2021 18:42

Firstly, I’m not sure if the extra strength ones will be any good for anyone with super sensitive skin.
I’d start on the sensitive or the normal strength wipes & regift these.

If skin is normally ok, I’d still only use twice a week. They smell really strong & they can sting a bit, but don’t let that put you off. They don’t make the skin peel off or strip out pores. They get rid of dead cells I think. But they do shrink pores & the next day skin looks amazing. I’m a total convert. My skin is combination & I get the odd spot around my mouth from time to time.

Babymamaroon · 09/12/2021 21:47

Well that's me sold! Am looking forward to amazing skin :)

Natura Bisse neck cream (Friday)

Aromatherapy associates bath oil (Saturday)

I love the aromatherapy oils, and have a few in the bathroom. I bought a box of sample sizes after receiving a forest therapy in a previous ac. Very happy.

Neck cream. Hmmmm. Not sure about creams for the neck or how it differs from cream for the face! High value item so will use with an eyebrow raised and high expectations!

Hair serum today. I LOVE. The packaging!!!
Glad I googled it though because it almost went into my face serum stash Grin

Im not keen on the neck cream & will regift.

I also had to Google todays otherwise I would’ve put it on my face. So does it mix in with shampoo or conditioner?

I really don't know Grin I'm thinking of mixing it into my hair oil or hair gel....

@supadupapupascupa haha I'm glad you said as I was pleased at getting a facial serum Grin

AesopsMables · 13/12/2021 07:31

I tried the hair serum yesterday, dabbed it on end of my hair before blow drying. My hair felt lovely afterwards. Very happy with that.
Aromatherapy bath oil was gorgeous also.

Offredismysister · 13/12/2021 09:13

I took the bath oil out at the start as I was going away & the hotel had a massive roll top bath. It sat there for ages with my heated eye mask on & I slept really well after.

I like todays, I always need an eye cream.

supadupapupascupa · 14/12/2021 08:38

Eye mask today. Happy to receive although I already have it in my stash. Anyone tried them?

OP posts:
supadupapupascupa · 15/12/2021 08:50

Eye primer today. Meh.

OP posts:
AesopsMables · 15/12/2021 11:21

I've never tried the MZ eye mask but it will be put to use this month I am sure 😉

Tip for the eyelid primer- I used last year's as lip primer and it works really well!

Babymamaroon · 15/12/2021 20:24

I agree about today's. Will give it a go though!

I do like the eye masks

AesopsMables · 16/12/2021 07:04

Iconic mascara today. The reviews of this are v mixed. Lots say it's too clumpy and gives 'false lash' effect.

Will give it a go later...

Offredismysister · 17/12/2021 08:49

I used the eye mask that night & the results straight after were not great. I might’ve looked a bit more bright eyed the next day but that could be wishful thinking.

I felt meh about the primer, I tried the icon mascara & loved it. It really made my lashes look longer & eyes look wider. I also feel meh about todays as I don’t routinely use a primer, but I’m going out tomorrow night so will try it at least.

AesopsMables · 17/12/2021 11:24

I'm not keen on Rodial as a brand so will reserve this for re-gifting next year.

Mascara is a thumbs up 👍🏽!

AesopsMables · 18/12/2021 08:00

Silk scrunchies today which I will put to good use.
I've just googled them and they are £40 😯

The Oribe Power Drops are amazing, my hair looks salon blow dried after I use them which is both good and bad as not sure I want to spend ££££'s on replenishing when I finish the bottle.

Only 1 more week to go ...

supadupapupascupa · 18/12/2021 08:26

I've had a slip scrunched before and I love it. Although they do stretch after a while......
