Recommendations for a skin care set/brand for my DD Age 24

DD (24) has asked for a nice skincare set for xmas. She has pretty good skin, classic combination, sometimes dry, sometimes oily, and she has been prone to breakouts on her chin especially lately.

There seems to be lots of sets for acne prone teens, and many more for middle aged women like me, but I seem a bit stuck for her.

Any ideas or recommendations very much welcome.

I’ve been using Clinique since I was 22

They have lots of sets, depending on budget, and larger Boots stores have counters so you could speak to someone about the best products

I’ve bought my goddaughter (21) a haul from Glossier, she loves their stuff, both makeup and skincare

Paula’s Choice have some christmas sets now. Their salicylic acid products are good for acne-prone skin.

Eve Taylor is good.

Liz Earle stuff is nice and quite gentle.

HipposHaveNipples - I like Eve Taylor too but where can you buy it, please? I have never seen it on sale in the shops or on line.

Clinique Moisture Surge is great and it's not heavy at all.

MistySkiesAfterRain · 15/11/2021 20:37

I quite like Your Good Skin for combination skin.

The ordinary.

Inky List is a great brand and it's not crazy expensive if she wants to get any products she likes.

Glossier is popular with young women or maybe Fenty Skin.

Or you could get a beauty advent calendar?

BigWoollyJumpers · 16/11/2021 10:49

Thanks all - Great suggestions.

Glossier, fenty, selfless by hyram, Paula’s choice, cosrx, drunk elephant, elf, versed (versed would definitely be my current top pick tbh) or buy her a subscription box so she can try loads of different things or a beauty pie subscription maybe?
