Finally got round to having my first bikini wax today, all seems fine, not too red (the lady at the salon said most people look redder), so do I have to do anything to it now? Is there anything I need to look out for?

Thanks for your help.

Your first bikini wax ever? You lucky thing. I had mine when I was 15. Leave it for 48 hours as it will be a little sensitive. When they start growing back you can exfoliate with a gentle exfoliator it really depends on how hairy you are and whether you have a tendency to get in growing hairs. Just watch for the scratching when they come through after a few weeks and try not to scratch in public;)

i used to use TendSkin just afterwards and save exfoliating for a week or so.

actually, i exfoliate before the wax.

I was being a big wuss about it if I'm totally honest!

It's still a bit red after about 30 hours I guess, but that's normal isn't it?

The exfoliating is to avoid ingrowing hairs isn't it? I have no idea whether I get ingrowing hairs or not!

When does it start looking normal again?

Where can you get tendskin from? Will remember about the before wax exfoliation for next time.

Don't feel very prepared now. Eek.

Thanks for your help, was getting a bit worried about it.
