Please help me get my refund from Saint and Sofia!

They have had my parcel back for a week and a half and still have not processed my refund.

When I email them all I get is a cut and paste response saying to wait up to 14 working days.
I just think this is a ridiculous time to wait if they have received the parcel
Also I'm now paying interest on the purchase

Is there anything else I can do? Can I raise a PayPal dispute or do a credit card charge back?

Similar situation with Massimo Dutti recently, although with them the item had been returned four weeks and despite 9 chats / calls they just kept saying their system had a fault preventing my refund.

When I asked them to sort the fault they said they couldn’t a.t.m, but would eventually.

I contacted my Credit Card company who did a charge back. Sorted !!

They are telling you it is 14 working days though and presumably it is in the Ts and Cs so not something they are just cutting and pasting? Confused as to why you are
paying interest? Similar to the usual excellent advice given on Mumsnet of "when someone tells you who they are, listen" this is "when someone tells you when they will refund you, wait (or don't buy from them if you disagree with their conditions)"

It says on their T&Cs that it's can be up to 14 working days. Doesnt look like you'd be paying interest as they allow up to 28 days for returns/refund

I have a little online shop and use Stripe as the payment method, if I need to do a refund it can take up to 21! Days and nothing I can do to speed it up.

This is the reason I refuse to buy from them. I didn't realise they used to be Zaggora - it took me almost a month and a threat of claiming back through my credit card before they refunded me and the same again with Saint and Sofia.
Why is it some companies refund almost instantly? It can be done.

Also you have to pay for p&p and returns unless it is an exchange. For an online only shop I expect better than that.

I've been tempted by some of their trousers for ages but a quick check through Mumsnet threw up some interesting responses about shit quality and awful customer service. I was immediately put off, but they keep popping up in my Insta feed and the temptation was coming back,,, Op, thank you for reminding me NOT to buy those trousers! Hope you get your refund soon, I take a very dim view of suppliers that drag their heels over such things. We the customers shouldn't be spending time stressing over things such as this.

It’s outrageous that companies can take payment from your account within a day, but not refund for two weeks! If they can take payment, they can return it.
This is why I hate ordering online.
OP I’d wait the 14 days and if not processed I’d do a charge back with the card company.

Surely your refund will be in a queue , they won't be holding on to your money on purpose. It's probably someone jobs to do it and there is a backlog .
I always use Klarna where I can then it's not real money until you choose what you are keeping !

I've just waited 3 weeks for a refund, and the customer service when chasing it was definitely cut and paste responses...a retailer of their size is taking the mickey with this policy, I'll definitely not be ordering again. The quality is really very poor for the prices they charge, then you pay to post it back and wait 3 weeks for your money. What a joke!

They’ve just tried to fob me off with a credit note instead of a refund (I met the 14+14 days policy even taking into account emailing to ask why the system wasn’t issuing the automatic free returns label promised on the site). Now I see this looks like standard MO for the company-shocking customer service, total rip off.

Always complain. They can't brush you off. But don't do it until the time stated elapses.

Baukjen is really bad at processing returns. Always around a month which is ridiculous. It’s put me right off buying from them. Although their latest collection isn’t that nice either, so that also has something to do with not buying!

If you've been offered a credit note rather than refund you can do a disputed transaction and get it back through the bank
