I'm usually quite good at this myself. You'd think this would be an easy one but i'm stumped!

Right - so i'm looking for a men's white zip up hoodie/jacket/coat which is thick enough to wear in the cold ie: has faux furry lining. And with a warm hood. XL.

Not a puffer jacket - the outer material should be fabric, like a hoodie.

Not fussed about writing/logo's either way as long as they aren't too in your face.

It's for DH. He has this beloved ancient one from years ago ('Utramagnetic' - a now defunct brand as far as i can tell) which he wore to death and uses now for work clothes (builder). He has never been able to replace this thing and if i could get him something similar for xmas he would be so chuffed!

Here is a pic of the old one to help. It is filthy and worn out. If anyone can find one i'll be amazed and grateful and very in awe :) :)

My biggest stumbling block has been the thickness/warmth. There's lots of hoodies, but not many that would do as an actual winter coat.

gap do fur lined hoodies, I have one and love it! The men's versions are a bit more plain (mine has a sparkly 'GAP' on the front)

The Gap and the Superdry - they're nice, i think i have seen them. It's def on the right track and they do look quite warm, but i'd really like to get him a white one.

@SingingSands ah - that Light In The Box one looks nice - i've seen that. I ^think^ it's available on Amazon and the reviews were a bit dodgy for it - bobbling after one or two wears ect - but i'll double check. It might have been a different one.

@Kjr33 that salt rock one is nice. The two tone grey is nice. I can see DH liking that.

Seneca the American Amazon one works out about £50 with shipping which is ok. Arrival 24th Nov. Again ok.

Just reading about the 'American' one on Amazon. Reviews by women seem good. Men are saying sleeves and body are a short. DH is big across shoulders and long arms. Sleeves not got the fur lining.

That's fantastic!

The Saltrock one doesn't look like it is lined through the body, just the hood. The Abercrombie one looks like it is though (and perhaps better quality).

What colour are you getting bestbeforedateexpired ?
