Dr Dennis Gross - do you rate the brand and what do you use?

I don't mind spending on skincare that truly honestly works but I'm very wary of getting sucked in to overpriced, overhyped nonsense. I got a sample of Dr Dennis Gross Texture Renewal Serum with another purchase recently and I love it so far. Costs a fortune of course so wanted to canvas some other opinions!

Do you rate his products and if so, what do you use and what does it do for you? Please feel free to recommend cheaper, effective options too. My skin is dry and dehydrated, I have fine lines and bags under my eyes, I'm early 40s for context. Thanks!

I've used a whole pack of the exfoliating pads as they were in a Caroline Hirons skincare kit. I did like them but it wasn't great enough for me to justify expense (I have no problem spending on nice products)

I've also tried the SPF - it is really nice, but again I feel like everything is £20 too expensive I'm not sure what justifies the extra expense.

I haven't tried anything else.

Yes, I agree - each product seems £20-30 too expensive, and that's a lot of money

I love the acid peel wipes & have repurchased many times. I buy the box of 30 & use twice a week so they last. I also buy when there are offers on or my ndulge points have built up. I want to try the marine collagen cushion cream, so might by the mini’s set.

Like @doadeer I’ve tried the SPF - it is really nice. But it’s not that much nicer than the others ones I’ve tried to justify the price. I’m currently using one about £35 cheaper. I might pay more for something that was a treat/a luxury product that was more for occasional use etc. But it’s just SPF, and I’m using it every day so the extra cost does start to build up.

I've used the pads as well and they were great. They were 💰💰 though.
