What to wear instead of the lovely (but itchy) chunky jumpers & cardigans that are everywhere?

There’s some lovely chunky cosy looking knitwear around right now but I only have to look at it & I start itch! What can I wear instead to look current and be warm but not too hot? I’ve just been through my wardrobe & got rid of the itchy hot knitwear I’ve never enjoyed wearing and need to replace with something. Wish I could wear the lovely chunky knitwear😩

Can your wear a very thin thermal top underneath or would that make you too hot?

@ghislaine too hot I think. Also i find i get irritated if the item so much as touches my skin, like brushes against my hand or wrist or neck. It makes me itch on that little part & then I just want to rip it off! It’s very annoying.

Chunky cotton knit? I’ve got the one below from L’Envers and it’s definitely not itchy. It won’t be as warm as wool but it’s warm enough.
