Please may i ask a hairdresser a question about olaplex?

For the salon treatment (not the home retail option), does it involve one or two mixes of product being put on the hair?

Is it just simply a mix of product being put on to damp hair, left on for 15 minutes and then shampooed off with regular shampoo?

Or is there more to it than that?

TIA

With Olaplex 2, the salon treatment, you shampoo the hair, then apply the Olaplex to damp hair, leave it for 15+ minutes, wash out with shampoo and the proceed as normal. It's just a big bottle of creamy stuff.

With Olaplex 1, you add it to the bleach.

I am not a hairdresser but I buy Olaplex 2 online from some random person in HK and do it myself at home.

Number 2 is a more concentrated version of 3. Number 1 , whilst it can be added to bleach, it can also be used as a stand alone treatment. It’s waterey though.

I’ve used it on an off since it was in its trials and honestly can’t say it’s groundbreaking. And I find it an absolute pain in the arse in bleach and it gives me less lift. Olaplex keep changing the directions for this method. I prefer using it as standalone after bleaching/colouring
