Anthropologie really on the money this season

I went in and everything looked delicious. I can hardly ever afford or fit into their stuff but I love their aesthetic and on the occasions it works I feel amazing. The dark green and metallics just hitting it perfectly.

Website looks good - very pricey though!

EdinaMonsoon · 05/11/2021 15:27

Please share some links OP 😊 I love a good mooch in Anthropologie but their website never thrills me & I get bored quickly.

EachandEveryone · 05/11/2021 18:12

The website is rubbish isnt it? They have lovely stuff but its so expensive I wonder if they struggle? I know Urban Outfitters is and they are owned by the same company I think.

im having trouble finding one single dress that isn't either ballon-like, migraine enducingly patterned or thoroughly impractical. Possibly ok for parties in warmer climes or for someone with underfloor heating and that's it.

PermanentTemporary · 06/11/2021 07:12

I loved this top and I never love high necked things.

Well, I've bought from Anthropologie in the past, but was just thinking how dreadful things look this season! Awful colours and proportions, styled badly. I think they've lost their way, sadly. However, style is subjective. If you're found something nice, that's great. I'm disappointed.

Nitgel · 06/11/2021 07:26

The sale is usually good

Brogues · 06/11/2021 07:49

They never bothered their arse to send me what I ordered last time so as much as I love their offerings it’s a no from me. Looking at their social media I wasn’t the only one having issues.

Nitgel · 06/11/2021 08:17

Some things take ages atm have you emailed them brogues

Maireas · 06/11/2021 09:04

A couple of years ago the clothing was really interesting, colours and styles good, but I think they need to be a bit more modern now and think about the silhouette and the fabric. They're not cheap, so they need to up their game.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 06/11/2021 14:42

I ordered some dresses that I had been looking at for months. Reduced from almost £200 to £40 each. They are nice quality. Definitely not £200 though and the dresses have pockets. However they all seem to be for people without boobs.
Returning them all as even a bigger size would mean they are too big everywhere else.

Brogues · 06/11/2021 15:28

I did @Nitgel and all they did was change it to a back order on my account without telling me.

TaraRhu · 06/11/2021 15:46

I live Anthropologie but I really doubt the quality. A lot of the time it is literally middle aged urban outfitters with a huge jump in price. Sale is fab though.

MarleneDietrichsSmile · 06/11/2021 16:46

Links?

I used to love Anthro but not bought anything recently

Too Californian and flouncy, nothing suited for English winter climate (;in the countryside )

Milomonster · 07/11/2021 12:40

All the stuff ends up in a sale. If you are in London, they have a permanent sale section. I’ve bought some gorgeous stuff very cheaply l. Would never pay full price.

DGFB · 07/11/2021 14:51

I also love it

TheChosenTwo · 07/11/2021 17:48

I love their home wares, a lot of my kitchen stuff is from there but their clothes have never appealed to me tbh. Always looks a bit frumpy to me, I think it’s the way the clothes are cut and hang. I haven’t looked recently though, I’m going to have a nosey now.

TheChosenTwo · 07/11/2021 17:55

Oh no; there’s nothing there that catches my eye!
