Help me mumsnet, I need to find some decent tweezers, my current ones are rubbish and don’t seem to be able to grab hold of my chin hairs… what are your recommendations please!

I love my TWEEZERMAN tweezers. Had them for years.

mutedrainbows · 30/10/2021 20:56

Definitely tweezerman!

Grumpasaurus · 30/10/2021 20:59

TweezerMan without a doubt!!!

TaVeryMuchLove · 30/10/2021 21:00

Yep - tweezerman

Dora26 · 30/10/2021 21:01

Another vote for Tweezerman - it’s a gamechanger!

Pashazade · 30/10/2021 21:01

Yup Tweezerman, they might cost a lot but they are worth every penny.

SiobhanSharpe · 30/10/2021 21:04

I like the little tweezers that came with my Swiss Army Knife. They are small but very precise and have a good grip.
Really good at getting the tiny hairs out of my chin. ☺️

Zeflyinghelmetandzevetcelery · 30/10/2021 21:13

I've had my Tweezerman slant tweezers for around 20 years. Best ones I've ever owned. I think they improved with age as I found them a little too sharp when they were brand new.

tortiecat · 30/10/2021 21:15

Another vote for Tweezerman - begone pesky chin hairs!!

summercupcake · 30/10/2021 21:19

Another vote for Tweezernan

SandandSplashes · 30/10/2021 21:20

Tweezerman!!!

ThomasHardyPerennial · 30/10/2021 21:22

Also Tweezerman, but the small ones. Find the full sized ones awkward to use.

BakedBeeeen · 30/10/2021 21:22

It’s unanimous! Thanks all. Will get myself some tweezermans. I reckon I can pull off the bearded lady look for Halloween but not after!

I would say Rubis all the way, actually. A million times better at gripping short hairs than Tweezerman IMO. I have had lots of pairs of both over the years.

Tweezerman are so widely available that they’re the brand most people end up buying if they want something a decent step up from Boots generic. But I really think that skews the responses on any thread asking this question.

TottiePlantagenet · 30/10/2021 21:30

Rubis for me too. I have slanted and point pairs, almost 20 years old and still super sharp.

adrianmolesmole · 30/10/2021 21:41

Tweezerman fan here tooGrin If it helps OP I got mine with Boots advantage points to save dough.

RedCarsGoFaster · 30/10/2021 21:47

Yup, Tweezerman. My favourites for the bloody chin hairs are the needle nosed set.

BeaLola · 30/10/2021 22:09

Tweezerman here too - a lovely emerald green case - had about 20 years

gigi556 · 31/10/2021 06:30

TWEEZERMAN. They work very well and last forever if you don't lose them and you can even send them back to tweezerman to be sharpened.

Absolutelypreposterous · 31/10/2021 07:07

Tweezerman are definitely a very good brand. However Rubis are probably better quality (Swiss)

Kjr33 · 31/10/2021 07:47

Tweezerman, but I’ve not exactly tried loads since I bought mine when I was around 16 and have used them ever since (a long time) the pretty pink colour has started to flake off but I won’t part with them.

Inthesameboatatmo · 31/10/2021 07:57

Another vote for tweezerman

Plus they're really good...
