Whats the best long lasting eye liner for the waterline

I have tried lots of liners, but none of them last more than one to two hours, if I put them just on the upper waterline, it always transfer on to the bottom lid , is there one that stays on all day. Ones I have tried are,

Stilla
Maybelline
Revlon
E l Double wear
Laura mercier
Nyx
Plus many more

I saw a Youtube video on this and apparently the tip is not to put it all over the waterline. It is only to put it on the literal edge where the lashes meet the skin inside. If you do this, it doesn't transfer. I use Laura Mercier Tightliner. It doesn't transfer but if I put it all over it does.

It's your eye that waters and washes it off - hard to find one to survive that.

I have the lancome one too, maybe my eyes are to watery to wear it on the waterline

I don’t think it’s your eyes OP, I just don’t think that anyone has done this since the millennium. It makes your eyes look much bigger to put it underneath the lash line. And smudgy isn’t the end of the world - it’s how you get the smoky look. I tend to wear eyeliner on only my upper waterline, I find Daniel Sandler long lasting waterproof eyeliner best. I get it from feel unique, it's about £9

Its funny how we all like to wear eyeliner differently, there was a thread on here recently and most were saying to put liner under the lash line is dated.

Nars high pigment long wear has been the best I’ve tried so far. I love Urban Decay normally but none of their liners last on the waterline. I do usually ‘blot’ my lower waterline with black eyeshadow but even without that it’s the longest lasting I’ve used. Benefit do one that’s my runner up (I think it’s the skinny BadGirl liner).

Lindyloo, I think I have tried nearly every one as well.

I found Avon glimmerstick to be not too bad. But then I found the cheap as chips Essence and that is really the best imo.

I like the hourglass one

I don't wear it anymore but the soap & glory one does not budge one bit. Can be tricky to remove at the end of the day actually.

I wear eyeliner on my waterline as it looks really fleshy otherwise. Nars high-pigment used to be great but they changed the formula and now it's crap. Now I tend to use MAC pro long wear or Bobbi Brown Long-wear - both of which are pretty good.

I have the Avon glimmer one too. The only eyeliner that's stays on under the eye is a mac liquid one, it's just I find it tricky to get a neat line, and you have to wipe any mistakes quickly before it dries as its hard to get off.

I want to start wearing it on waterline but my existing eye pencils are all too hard - are there any good softer ones which slide on easily which anyone can recommend?
