She looks stunning. Such a great colour on her and her hair is gorgeous.

I like that green gown and a bold lip is a departure but the makeup artist has been a bit heavy handed.

I see from the coverage that Kate’s parents and her brother and new sister in law also came along with them to the show - that must have been a nice change to be able to have her family with them.

I did wonder because William has been doing solo appointments if she had taken a break, had a bit of pampering somewhere got some quality sleep.

I’m so pleased that Kate wore her beautiful Jenny Packham green dress again. Clothes like that deserve to be seen more than once. She looks lovely, I like her hair too.

Also, she’s obviously listened to what I said about Camilla yesterday, so she’s worn a bright lipstick to lift her look!

Kate always looks very good in jewel coloured evening dresses or good - those colours really suit her colouring

justasking sorry, but if being a princess doesn't involve getting quality sleep every night I don't know what would! She's not exactly got to leap out of bed to make bloody sandwiches for the kids in the morning. That's the job I think I like the least. For years my eldest son had ham sandwiches every day and in about year four he said he was getting bored with ham sandwiches so could he have something different? Oh the excitement. He asked for ham rolls instead

I think I'm the only dissenting voice! Kate's hairdo has a lovely relaxed vibe but I'm not sure it goes with the gown, which is quite formal. The side swept hair looked better with the dress she wore to the Earthshot prize last month, maybe because that gown had a more "flowy" look to it?

When did she take a break? This is her 5th official engagement this week

• She met scouts to award centenary remembrance badges
• she met with Holocaust survivors at a photographic exhibition
• she attended the Royal legion remembrance concert with William
• She was at the Cenotaph for the remembrance service
• she was at the Royal variety awards

I agree with you about her hair not quite matching the dress deftly. It sort of reminded me of a slightly more polished side-swept version of this hair look (which has a beach-y feel).

frugal, not to derail but I couldn't agree more about packed lunches. They are the hill I will die on. I point blank refuse to make them and force my children to have school dinners whether they like or eat them or not.

I hated making the school sandwiches too but at least we had a little variety with hummous, Brussels pate or ham with salad cream.
Now DD is in high school it's school dinners, phew!

She certainly looks more vibrant and less drawn than she has done recently. I'm not any kind of expert, but I wonder if it's because she's toned down the eye makeup and brightened up the lipstick - it seems to me a more balanced look re colours on her face.

Or maybe she's taken advice from here and put on a couple of pounds or so.

I love that dress. And it's lovely she can and her family there as well.

I also like what Meghan is wearing in the prank section of Ellen's show. The bright pink is lovely on her.

I had one in the 80s gypsy neckline . Not as expensive though 😄😄
