What to wear to hospitality rugby match?

I've been invited as a guest to a rugby game in a hospitality box. Its an international match. There's also a welcome beforehand in a swanky hotel and back to the hotel for drinks afterwards (its the hotel owners who have invited me).

I have no idea what to wear! I'll need to be warm but I guess smart-ish? I'm 5 ft 6, size 16/18 with a big chest and hips and smaller waist. I don't like wearing heels if I can avoid it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would probably go for smart jeans, smart boots, and a smart wool coat. Then either a nice cashmere sweater or a thin knit and a blazer underneath the coat.

You’ll probably want a hat. I love a fedora but they’re not necessarily the warmest, don’t cover your ears! And I’m a big fan of cashmere wrist warmers as I like to be able to use my hands.

If it was super cold the wool coat would go out the window and I’d go with a down coat. In my experience most people dress pretty practically for these things. You could even go with hand warmers if it’s super cold.
