Best eye cream for fine lines and bags under £50

That's just it really. I'm after eye cream recommendations for the fine lines that are starting and the permanently tired-looking eyes due to bags. Going to treat myself so prepared to go to £50, but ideally a lot less! I'm reading about so many that are apparently the holy grail but it would be good to get some personal recommendations. Thanks all.

I've been using M Asam Retinol Intense with great results for the last 3 months (QVC) .

I'm finding Filorga Time Filler Eyes quite effective.

I have tried so so many eye creams to try to minimise under eye lines, but have come to the conclusion that nothing really works. However the nicest ones I've found are:

  • Estée Lauder advanced night repair eye (can usually get 20% off at Look Fantastic etc)
  • Goldfaden MD , think it's called Bright Eyes
  • Bobbi Brown extra eye repair
I'm currently using Paula's Choice ceramide eye cream which is also good.

I don’t think spending a lot of money on eye creams is a great idea. Some skincare experts say you don’t even need one. Then you get a tiny pot that needs replenishing.

I’ve tried loads and think the cheaper ones are just as good. I sometimes use the Pure serum from Superdrug (not specifically labelled for eyes) and currently the orange Nivea Q10 one. I’m 45 but might need to step it up in a few years, so I do think if you are over 50 it might make more difference.
