Looking for birthday gift ideas for lovely late-60s friend who's into skincare. Please give me your favourite products. Price range wise I can stretch to Elemis, but not creme de la mer!

I'm late 60s, and I was about to suggest Nivea Soft, which I use all the time. :o

Neal's Yard Frankincense face cream. I've just been online and see the range has been expanded, and they do gift packs.

Thanks echt! Think I'll follow that nivea soft tip for myself!

Love Neals Yard, and it's not something she can get where she lives. I'll have a look at their range.

Dr Dennis Gross peeling pads are pricey but have v good results. I’m a bit of a skincare freak and I’d love anyone that bought these for me!

Origins overnight drink up intensive mask is good, or I think they do a 10 minute one.

mrssmiling · 12/10/2021 12:43

L’Occitane - the Immortelle range is brilliant.
Neal’s Yard is good, but Verde is a smaller company with really lovely products…worth a look. www.verde.co.uk/
I’m using the neck cream which has really helped with crepiness and am going to order the orange blossom moisturiser. Gorgeous bath oils too...a fantastic treat. Helpful on phone if you need to ring for advice.

Ooohhh qvc have nice elemis sets just now. Elizabeth Arden retinol capsules are lovely, feel great on the skin and feels luxurious to use. Also origins have some nice gift sets.
