Chelsea boots for Narrow feet and Slim Ankles?

Ilovemycatsomuch · 08/10/2021 19:37

I always struggle to find boots to fit, due to having very slim/narrow ankles and feet! I normally need to buy boots with laces to get a snug enough fit.

I've been looking out for a pair of Chelsea boots for a while and not had any success so far. Everything I try, is too wide and gaping around the ankles.

Can anyone help? Any recommendations for Chelsea Boots for a narrow ankled lass?

I really want to find the perfect boots to wear out on Sunday evening.....so something I can buy in the shops tomorrow, rather than online would be amazing!

TIA

I always find Chelsea boots too big and wide. Can recommend these as suitable for narrow feet/slim ankles

I have this problem too and found some faux leather patent deep red/burgundy chelsea boots in Asda for £12.50. Very cheap but i think if you style them well, they will 100% look good. They are a stop gap until I can find something to properly replace my beautiful spanish leather topshop chelsea boots from many years ago.

Russell & Bromley

Out of stock online, but may be available in store? www.johnlewis.com/kin-perel-leather-chunky-sole-stretch-ankle-boots-black/p5695985

I have the same issue! I'm thinking of trying on the Russell and Bromley ones and the Whistles ones.

All boots look like wellies on me!

I do have boots from By Far that fit really well (I've had them a couple of years).

Sorry not be of help but bumping as I've been searching for lace up doc-style boots for my DD with size 8 narrow feet and ankles. Agree most boots look like wellies and give no support for ankles rolling in.

This is such a gap in the market you can get wide fit everywhere but not narrow. Cheaper shops sometimes have narrow fits eg new look but you have to go in and try on.

I currently have 3 pairs from various online stores boxed up to go back!!

I was about to start a similar thread! I have the same issue and like a PP, a lot of boots seem to look like mini wellies on me. Am looking through the suggestions with interest!

Ilovemycatsomuch · 09/10/2021 11:55

Thank you for all the suggestions! I'm going out to the shops soon and will report back with my findings!

@honeylemonteaforme

I have a pair of these lace up boots which are okay. Might suit your daughter?

They are not leather and I'm not sure how long they will last... but they are not baggy on me....

Had to send back my black Joules Cheltenhams as they were much too tight round the ankle - might be worth a look? The brown were OK but the black came up very small. Good luck!

Chrispackhamspoodle · 09/10/2021 12:30

Joules do some-Cheltenham boot.Very slim to the ankle and narrow

If you’re considering non-leather boots, Matalan tend to have some nice options.

They also stock good quality leather styles. I recently saw someone wearing a pair of leather biker boots that I was unable to source in my size when they went on sale nearly two years ago, and I’m still gutted lol. The boots still looked really good. The person wearing them has worn them most days during the last two Autumn/Winter seasons.

I bought some dr Martin's Chelsea boots from the kids section. Im a 4. Could be an option if your get are little. Also about £80 cheaper than the adult ones.

These are on sale and have good reviews so giving them a go! They do look pretty slim fitting in the pictures so fingers crossed...

goose1964 · 10/10/2021 18:12

Jones the bootmaker? I can't even think of getting more than a couple times in their shoes.

StormyCornishSeas · 10/10/2021 19:05

I have vvvvv narrow heel and just got a nice pair of boots from Moshulu

Timberland, hyde & oak in the past have been ok fit

I wear non-leather , my Go-To is M&S
I have their non leather chelsea boots and very narrow feet and ankles .

Usually a lot of their shoes do half sizes which is brilliant ( the Chelsea boots are whole size but I have others that do 5.5 )

I am idly looking at vegan DM but I don;t think they;d be right for my feet . (very narrow and hypermobile )

whatisthisinhere · 10/10/2021 22:01

I have narrow feet and ankles, and find boots from Whistles fit me well. I think all my boots are from there, apart from DMs.

whatisthisinhere · 10/10/2021 22:02

And Mand S footwear is always far too wide for me
