I like to dress up on christmas day (not sparkly knitwear and fergie bows ala my MIL)

What will you be wearing?

when I was about 13 I had an aquamarine sparkly acrylic knit jumper with matching acrylic knit skirt that I wore to the school party.

And I did sort of suspect even at the time that I looked crap

CliffRichardSucksEggsinHell · 07/12/2007 22:38

Jesus has tennis balls strapped to his chest?

Why?

wessexgirl · 07/12/2007 22:39

Yeah, if the in-laws heating is at its usual full-blast I might ditch the tasteful dress in favour of this.

Dropdeadfred · 07/12/2007 22:39

LOL Cliff...I said 'Jesus, she has tennis balls.......etc etc'

DrNortherner · 07/12/2007 22:40

BroccoliSpears · 07/12/2007 22:58

Califrau, those shoes are fabulous.

Anna8888 · 09/12/2007 16:35

A dress. In fact, two dresses - a thin grey-green long-sleeved polo neck sweater dress with a dark print cotton dress with short puff sleeves and a drawstring neckline over the top. And tights. And boots.

MrsBadger · 09/12/2007 16:36

ah bugger, I have not yet thought this far ahead

though we are going to a poorly-heated Welsh farmhouse so will no doubt involve many jumpers

Swedes2Turnips1 · 09/12/2007 16:48

I thought about a dress from Monsoon but I wanted something contemporary and edgey, so I've settled on this Not sure how practical it will be for checking on the Brussels sprouts.

EricScrooge · 09/12/2007 16:50

This Christmas, i shall mostly be wearing about three kilos of fine food and six litres of various mixed drinks of undetermined origin.

This Boxing Day, i shall mostly be wearing all of the above down my front or in the toilet.

saythatagain · 10/12/2007 16:05

Elasticated waistline, whether it be skirt or trouser and big billowing top - (as someone already mentioned) in gravy brown; accomodating not only the main course but everything that proceeds and followings. Similar lounge wear will be worn throughout the festive period. Under garments will also be large, lose and slightly droopy. HTH

OverMyDeadStuffedTurkey · 10/12/2007 16:10

I will be in PJs as will DS, we will watch dvds and eat chocolate and not see anyone else

For big extended family christmas lunch on 22nd, I will make more effort though!
