What do we think to coloured tights (for the over 30's)

Now I am teh ripe old age of 31 I have to stop and think that some fashions I like, are a bit mutton

I have a lovely black above knee skirt that looks fab with thick tights and patent platforms.

Should I do coloured tights yay or nay?

I am also 31 and wouldn't think twice about wearing coloured or indeed any kind of snazzy tights.

Also, 31 is really young.

I've got some purple ones and loads of patterned ones and I'm 38. No smirking behind hands at the school gates so far.

It had never even occurred to me that coloured tights have a sell-by date! I am much older than you and I still wear them.

It's not mutton, but do be careful what colour you choose. A woman at my WW meeting this week had a frog-like shade of green on, with her black skirt. They were meant to match her green shirt, but just didn't look right.

i've got the in purplespice which look fab with sweater dress/cord mini and boots but they must be put on with care or go twisty round thighs.

I love coloured tights but as I'm quite chunky in the calf, they need to be dark.
