Does anyone have one of these?

The UK reviews suggest it's a good jacket, but sizing is tricky. However, the reviews I read in French say it doesn't remain waterproof for very long.

North face comes up small ime .

I’ve just bought this so can’t comment on waterproofing length!
I love it though, perfect length and really comfortable. I am a size 12 and although the medium did fit it was a little snug and wouldn’t have allowed for layering so I bought a large.

They def come up small, I am 8-10 and wear medium with NF.
I like this jacket and thought about buying it for a while, but I can't excuse another waterproof purchase.
I have always found them to be adequately waterproof, more so than many regular brands such as Joules, fat face, etc.

Remember this is a shell, so will have a slightly different but thicker texture than the usual waterproof fabric. Amazing for keeping the wind off, and whilst not at the top of the waterproof range it will be just fine unless you are standing on top of Ben Nevis for 5 hours in a freezing rainstorm with nothing but a backpack and flask.
The design looks good for repelling water, ie the cuffs, hood, zipper.

Thanks for the feedback.

I don't live in a rainy part of the world, so don't have a very good waterproof, but need one for going to Scotland in early Nov and for a few other trips I have planned. Nowhere near Ben Nevis, sadly - more central belt.

I thought it looked well designed for waterproofing and was a bit surprised at the Parisians saying they got wet cycling through town in it.

I'll size up Smile.

I ordered it. It's brilliant. Lightweight and on my 8-10 frame the M is perfect, with room for reasonable layers (probably can't get a fleece under it, but for where I live it's fab). Arrived 24hrs after red alert rainfall, and the sunshine is back, but I'm v hopeful it'll be perfect for my November in Scotland experience.
