I weigh 8 stone 3, am usually a 6-8 and just had to buy a large in Zara!

Just that. To be fair it is a mini dress but, come on!
The sizing is bonkers!

Their sizes are often a bit hit-and-miss. I got something in a medium and it was huge. Got in in XS and it was only slightly smaller.

Miseryisabutterfly · 01/10/2021 10:58

That is ridiculous

I've found Zara to be really good. I'm a 14 to 16 and get the XL as the 14 doesn't fit my double F boobs.

PurpleDaisies · 01/10/2021 14:01

The issue I have is the inconsistency. I’ve got everything from an Xs to a L from there.

Whentheydontmeanwhattheysay · 01/10/2021 14:02

I watched a thing in TikTok recently. There’s something about triangles/squares/circles on the label and the sizing. Presumably that’s why it’s hit & miss?
Does the minidress have a triangle on the label OP?
Don’t know why they can’t just size consistently though.

It seems that everything they sell these days are crop tops or synthetic stuff that will smell after an hour of wearing it.
Saw some lovely bags today and nice jeans but nothing else I wanted and it seems to be getting worse with each new collection.

Neonplant · 01/10/2021 14:17

Bonkers!

BusterGonad · 01/10/2021 14:26

The shapes on the label apparently just mean what collection they are in i.e casual, dressy etc.
