"Elegant" backpack

I know the word is not "elegant" but I am looking for a backpack or similar that has some vibe. I am going to the gym in lunch time from my office, so I leave home in the morning with all the things for the gym. Just that, basically. 🙏

@Scrunchies do you think a carrying a laptop they would still be comfortable? I've been tempted by the longchamp one but not sure how comfortable they are for commuting.

Agreed. The backpack is smaller in terms of capacity than the le pliage original. Does it have to be a backpack? My large le pliage carries my laptop & gym gear easily and I find it is durable and stylish for not too much £££

I spent ages looking for a backpack for work and was about to buy a Knomo one, but ended up getting this one from M&S instead.

It’s not super sophisticated but comfortably holds my laptop, gym stuff and laptop, and I think it looks pretty good. Significantly cheaper than the one I was going to buy.

As an aside, I also have the Longchamp and I don’t think it would be big enough for what you need it for- I use mine as a weekend/ holiday bag.

*and my lunch. I’m not carrying around two laptops!

I also love the look of the matt and nat ones and was considering buying one earlier this year but I was turned off by poor reviews - hard to know whether the reviews are representative but you might want to have a google before deciding

Have a look at Alice's Wonders; I've recently bought a navy leather backpack and it's lovely quality and a decent size and price.

Mia Tui do lovely backpacks. Vegan, good quality and last years. I get lots of compliments on mine which is a lovely dark red colour. Had a Matt and Nat purse years ago which was good quality

What’s your price range? Gaston Luga backpacks are lovely, as are the Fairfax and Favor Loxley range but they, particularly the latter, are not cheap!
