Best facial self tanner for fair skin?

Money no object. I've been using Clarins bronzing milk for years and I love the natural colour on me but it just doesn't last. I get one good day, a half decent day then back to white again.

What do others do please? I don't like any form of tanning drops, I've tried them and find them messy and wasteful.

This summer I have been using Dove as a moisturiser and it has gently tinted my skin. Cheap and no smell. Job done.

I know you've said you don't like drops but the best tanner I've used is Tan Luxe. There are drops for the face and for the body- so worth it!
