petite style bloggers/influencers to follow for a 40something mum

Can anyone recommend any fab petite bloggers/influencers? I am a mum in my early 40s surrounded by teenagers so I both need to stay current but also dress grown up. I've really enjoyed following a number of influencers and have really improved my style. But am 5.3 and an inverted triangle so a lot of the clothes, especially baggy styles dont really work for me. Can anyone recommend any petite influencers to follow? Thank you

Extra Petite? She’s short and slim (much slimmer than me!) but some of her older posts talk about how to alter clothes for a petite frame. She also does decent workwear edits.

As an inverted triangle, you'd want more volume at the bottom? So those wide leg, flared, baggy trousers I would have thought would suit you more.
Caroline as mentioned above has great style but note she is 5'6 or 5'7.
I like ahistoryofarchitecture on instagram. I always assumed she was petite but not actually sure.

All the ones mentioned but for style tips not necessarily the same clothes look at lumiered'helene who is Australian and 5'3. Lots of her clothes aren't available here but she's good for ideas of stuff not to overwhelm us shorties!

thanks again will check out all the other recommendations

@othgraph yes, i do need more on the bottom but need ideas for say which petite trousers to wear without looking like a clown. ahistoryofarchitecture looks amazing. no idea where she'd be getting her clothes from but fab

Erica is based in Toronto but she does link to stuff that you might find at stores like The Mercantile. I'm always favouriting her looks so I can go back and try something similar from the stores here. I like her because she's one of the few instagrammers I've seen that isn't shilling all the time.

I stop bothering when everything is a sales pitch, though I can see past that with Hot and Flashy (older and not your figure) I have gone off Henshaw (younger than you thought your size) as she is always ranting or doing the faux seduction charming sales pitch, I can't be doing with it anymore.

Exactly how I feel. It’s tiresome and actively turns me away from brands.

SmallTownThreads is good as she is not into selling (opposes fast fashion) and she is very much her own self.

@395h3948 sorry to hear you feel down and upset. I felt the same at your age. This is your time now to discover, invest in and express yourself. What helped me was reading Style&Beauty, Instagram (I can’t bear the selling and follow more inspirational and street style photographers, artists) and Pinterest. Also people watching… checking out stylish women your age / height / build.
