I really like Bobbi Brown colours - their neutrals can't be beaten. At the moment I'm wearing the Grey - it's more of a browny-grey so very easy to wear.

Further down the price range, Revlon have bought out a range of quad eyeshadows that look really nice.

If you want to be bolder with colour, I'd try Nars, Mac or Ruby & Millie.

With lip gloss, I honestly don't think it's worth going too far upmarket (though too cheap may be too gloopy). Everyone seems to love Lancome Juicy Tubes, though they're too young for me.

MAC and BeneFit shadows are ace. No 7 good for slightly cheaper. Tesco Barbara Daly range also top for both lip glosses and shadows. Juicy Tubes are great but still quite sticky. My bestest gloss is my Stila one but not exactly a bargain...

Eyeshadows about 11 quid I think - glosses a bit more. V cheap from USA so know any real NY Fairies?! Urban Decay also ace and you often get them on bargain web-sites...

i take it a little goes a long way? i watched that youtube video and she said the mac stuff is highly pigmented.

i bought one from the body shop yesterday. i never usually go in there, and was surprised at the quality of it. it is really good. and about £7.
i have been addicted to the girl on you tube after that video thingy. she makes everything look so easy. i tried to copy her and it looked like a smudgy mess

i love mac and going to but a shade stick in sharkskin as soon as i can get to a mac shop. i cant get one on ebay.

i like the tesco one too, it's good for everyday.

I bought a fab Dior eyeshadow case thing from Duty Free. Was quite expensive at 40 euros, but it is a gorgeous mirrored case and there are 6 colours and cute applicators. Love it.

Mac eyeshadow is lovely

the best one is "motif" - it looks different colours depending on the light so is a lovely pinky/peachy shade which is lovely for everyday

fairy i think you are warm toned so bronze, brown etc not blue or purple. some goldy greens might be nice thoguh.
