Recently my hair has got a bit greasy. Its fine in the morning and then bit greasy and lank by mid afternnon - not a great image for you all! My hair is very fine, chin lenghth and highlighted so never know whether to buy shampoo for volumising, colour protect, anti-frizz. So end up trying lots different ones and never really sticking with one. Help please

Will be watching for an answer, kirsty, dd has greasy hair and we cannot find a good shampoo for her....life was easier when they all came in greasy, normal and dry!!!!

Have you tried Batiste dry shampoo? I've got fine, limp, greasy hair too and keep a can in my bag for emergencies. Spray on, rub in, brush out. Great for a good few hours afterwards.

I'd love ideas for de-greasing shampoos too...

i have quite greasy hair and found the head and shoulders shampoo and cond for greasy hair is really good also theres 1 by sunsilk (think thats the make) its in a blue bottle for greasy hair called fresher for longer shampoo with a spray conditioner, i find thats quite good too!

I find degreasing shampoos make it worse as they are so harsh - I like Tesco el cheapo henna one (am brunette). 59p.

Just to add my bit - don't buy Pantene Pro-Age (or whatever they call it) Age re-perfect or something. I have dry hair, and that makes even my hair greasy after 1 day.

BibiJesus where do you get Batsiste dry shampoo?

I initially got it on ebay, but now Boots and Tesco are stocking it near the shampoos, usually on the bottom shelves in a green can. Don't get he Tropical one though - unless you don't mind smelling like a coconut!

It's not like a real good wash, but it does the trick in emergencies. always worth keeping some on hand.

Mine is v similar kirstygem - I like Tisserand tea tree shampoo and I use a bit of conditioner afterwards just on the ends to smoothe it out. Toni and Guy do a good dry shampoo for perking it up if it gets greasy later in the day - or rub a tiny bit of baby powder into it and brush out.
