What perfume do you wear?

I fancy a new perfume (thinking of dropping hints to DH for Christmas). I wear SpaceNK Laughter at the moment, but it has nearly run out and can't afford to buy more of that one.

I'd like something light, maybe a bit flowery smelling and suitable for day or eve. Any suggestions?

I'm loving AScqua di Parma's Iris Nobile at the mo and likeJo Malone's Nutmeg & Ginger too.

frostythesnowmum · 04/12/2007 18:45

Jo Malone blue agava and cocao is the most beautiful smell in the world!

fishie · 04/12/2007 18:51

yes stella is nice (unfortunately as she is not). half roses half fresh. and another vote for aqua allegoria, have had grapefruit and herb, both good for day and summer. issey miyake is best though frightfully expensive.

BJB21 · 04/12/2007 20:02

STELLA nice but smell doesnt last long. ive used nearly whole bottle in few weeks!

dividedselfridgesxmaswindow · 04/12/2007 20:03

allure
has anyone sniffed the man version?

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 04/12/2007 20:18

Estee Lauder Pleasures is light and flowery. It's my daily wear, that or Chanel Cristalle.

I wear No. 5 when I'm being a grown-up.

BJB21 · 04/12/2007 20:42

the allure man version lovely too, i bought dp it a couple yrs ago

jenpet · 04/12/2007 20:47

Jean Paul Gaultiers original one for me, ought to try something else but I love it! Bought DH Allure for Xmas, I was really impressed with the tester.

lou33 · 04/12/2007 20:51

used to wear chanel no 5, now maitresse by agent provocateur

FatBellyJones · 04/12/2007 20:55

Eau de FCUK it's very fresh and good for day and evening

I also wear Jean Paul Gaultier orignal which I adore and Elizabeth Arden - Sunflowers which is a bit sweet and flowery but always attracts compliments and attention

Daffodilly · 04/12/2007 22:26

Some great ideas there - I think I feel the need for a trip to Boots tomorrow for some sniff tests.

Would love to go for Jo Malone, subject to a suitable windfall.... I bought my mum some of her grapefruit shower gel and I love the smell of that.

THelesbellsRINGOUTFORCHRISTMAS · 05/12/2007 20:36

Allure for me too and Thierry mugler's Alien.

CissyCharlton · 05/12/2007 20:39

Chanel No.5.

snowleopard · 05/12/2007 20:42

I think you might like Marc Jacobs Daisy - light, floral and not overpowering, but still quite interesting and grown-up, I love it. I don't like to buy big perfume bottles as I only use it on occasion, but I found that you can get this one as a solid perfume that comes in a chunky ring.
