Can anyone help? I'm getting nowhere in my search. I'm trying to find the kind of very high, stiff, straight backed collar you are very elegant refined older women characters in on tv. It's more than just a regular shirt collar that's been starched up, it's a very high collar or neckline, usually worn with hair up, almost seems to touch the base of the hairline. I can't find any images to illustrate, but I know I've seen it in contemporary shows (as in, not just Victorian style necklines). Does anyone know what I'm talking about?! Feel like I'm going mad on Pinterest!
