Is Benefit stuff worth it? Wandered into the Covent Garden store at the weekend and was entranced by the pretty packaging but it is ££ (and I rarely wear makeup)

SlubbersRingAreYouListening · 04/12/2007 13:23

can I just clarify after my multiple misunderstanding of yesterday.

Do you want to talk about make up?

If yes, I would love some advice on powder because my geurlan little fancy ball things have all run out.

ggirlsbells · 04/12/2007 13:23

What is that lip glos.... it's a blue-y colour and mint flavour scented I think, sposed to make your teeth look more bright and sparkly? about 12 ponds I think.

Anyone know?

ggirl - I bit the bullet and got anurban decay liquid liner, it's all sparkly and green.

EffiePerine · 04/12/2007 13:25

Which? Do I need to get stuff? My makeup bag atm consists of (shameful emoticon)

foundation from B never too... in fancy bottle
light neutral eyeshadow
mascara
concealer (Boots no 7)
Pink liquid eye stuff
brown eye pencil

er...

that's it

and that's what I wear on special occasions. Am I a hopeless cause?

EffiePerine · 04/12/2007 13:26

oh and pinky brown blush stuff. There might be some bronzer in there as well

I've never found one I reallt like - the B isn't too bad (and doesn't irritate my skin) but no transforming effect IYSWIM (prob epxpecting too much of foundation)

EffiePerine · 04/12/2007 13:29

blush is cream, but cheapo Rimmel I think

Dryish, sensitive, no spots or anything. Sallow (otherwise known as yaller)

I have Chanel liquid eyeliner in a kind of grey black, it is quite good. But I think I prefer proper black when we are talking about liquid eyeliner.

This is supposed to be on the eyeliner thread isn't it?

Tinted moisteriser sounds like a v good plan - I get irritated by foundation afteer a while (prob cos I don't use it often). I have Christmas Money to spend as well (though most of that is going on decent bras)

JV-hope it's nice

I have decided liquid eyeliner doesn't really work on me.Looks nice for a bit if I smudge it,but that really defeats the point, and it smudges all Alice Coopery when my eyes water, which they do a lot.
