Very frizzy over coloured hair.. shampoo suggesrions please.

Tried the no poo method. Hair felt so better ,much softer hair like as apposed thw coat of a rough terrier dog. ! The oils made feel and look great texture wise but the hair did not feel clean.
Would a sulphatw free shampoo ans option one for afro.hair? Going no poo/ shampoo free.taught me that normal shampoo is very very bad for my super dry dog hair! Any suggestions please.. especially purse freindly.! Thanks

Aveda for coloured hair has been my saviour. Not massively purse friendly but you can make it last

I use Pureology shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair (dry bits from current balayage and various past experiments ); it's not cheap, but a little goes a very long way.

It's probably an obvious suggestion but have you tried Olaplex - the prewash treatment rather than the shampoo? If that's a bit pricey Revolution make a dupe which I haven't tried but it gets really good reviews - Revolution stuff is normally good IME .

It is a light bulb moment for me not using shampoo , my hair looks much softer ,less brittle ,so somerhing in my normal( salon grade from sallys),shampoo is not good for hair and i never knew!
