I use Bobbi brown gel eyeliner and love it but it's not the best for a decisive flick. I have tried a few liquid eyeliners at various prices and they've been rubbish! Please point me in the right direction for a product that is easy to control and apply and the liner comes out easily and evenly. I want some flicks!

I can highly recommend Lancôme artliner. Stays on for as long as you need it to but not stubborn to remove. Really precise too. Smile

I have tried many many brands, both high end and cheap but in the end I keep coming back to good old Collection 2000 fast stroke liquid eyeliner. It comes in waterproof, easy to use, very black, the waterproof one really is waterproof and it doesn't budge.

I use NYX vinyl and I like it. Easy to apply.

I've been using eyeliner for the last 20 years and atm my favourites are L'Oréal perfect slim eyeliner (a pen) for delicate flicks and speed, and maybelline master ink liquid eyeliner for a bold. Neither are waterproof though. The Mac liquid eyeliner is great too. None of these flake but if you have oily eyelids, a bit of setting powder just on the lids will stop smudging. The more expensive ones have no additional technology over the cheaper ones.

However, the perfect flick is down to technique as I could do it even just with a pencil. The only consideration for an eyeliner for me has always been longevity and pigment intensity.

I have quite hooded oily eyelids - stila stay all day and kat von d eyeliner pens work well for me except for the flick which now sadly disappears into my crows feet. I miss it - enjoy your flick while you can!!!

Eyeko skinny. I've tried a lot and that was one of the best

PullMeInToTheScreen · 10/09/2021 16:32

And Stila stay all day as pp mentioned

I got a Lumene felt tip type eyeliner in their advent calendar last year and was very impressed, I started using eyeliner and doing flicks for the first time in years!

Vicliz24 · 10/09/2021 16:46

The collection 2000 felt tip one is the one I return to time and time again . I used to buy expensive and be disappointed so now I just stick to that one . Cheap as chips and it works every time . I can put it on at 6am and take it off at 10pm .

I use 2
Benefit roller Matt liquid eyeliner I have it I’m both colours
Or I use the Bobbi brown gel liner pots. I have both brushes. More control and it lasts and lasts. Need good remover to get it off though.

KVD dagger has been my holy grail for nearly a decade but I've switched to the morphe dupe. It's SO good.

PraiseBee · 10/09/2021 18:55

Thank you all

I do flicks every day, I love them!! I’ve tried all different makes and prices, best one for me is H&M dip liner. It’s 8pm now where I live, I put it on at 6am, traveled by boat and scooter to work in the rain, full day of teaching and 90 mins of MMA training and sweating and my flicks are still intact and perfect! Honestly, it is awesome.

Coleur Caramel

UthredofBattenberg · 10/09/2021 21:53

I've tried a lot, but as others have said, I keep going back to collection 2000 waterproof. I've not yet found anything better for the price

I also keep coming back to this one. The brush is just thick enough to not give you a really skinny line that you have to keep going back and making the flick thicker. I've been using this one for almost a decade and currently feel completely out of my comfort zone using the Rimmel Glam Eyes one because the brush is a lot softer so easier to make mistakes.
