Are you going to stop buying from shops that get a low rating?
Almost everywhere I buy from comes out badly ( (Whistles, Jigsaw, Hush, Mint Velvet....)
I know I can buy second hand and do sometimes but generally I want to buy new. I can turn my attention to M and S and already go to H and M and Cos but now I want to stop the others.
What are you doing? Turning a blind eye? Changing to use new shops?

I do. I've found loads of new brands by using good on you too you can search for items you want and budget and it will list the ones with the higher ratings

I think i've come to the conclusion that the only way is to cut drastically the amount i buy. i really do not need the amount of clothes i was buying. Did a 'no spend' year a couple of years ago and felt amazing by the end of it, so great to have not wasted my cash on clothes and saved so much. I have to say buying clothes has lost it's sheen for me, especially since everything is so low quality, even when you buy from more expensive places. I find myself disappointed, hardly every wearing my purchases and getting very little joy from them. And when you add into the mix the horrible ethics of the industry and effect on the environment...
So, don't think i'll change where i buy as they are all as bad as each other. Will just buy a lot less and maybe try charity shops if i feel i really need something.

I avoid companies with a low rating, particularly those that are expensive brands- no excuse. I try and buy natural fibres or recycled and l buy less. I don't always succeed but it's a start. We can't carry on like this.

buyitinbamboo Ive just had a look and yes there are lots of brands on there that look good.
Buying less is important and of course it's the very best help for the environment.
