I wouldn't attempt to do my own. I get them done professionally

walkinginaWILKIEwonderland · 01/12/2007 21:22

Have mine waxed. So much easier!

expatinscotland · 01/12/2007 21:23

i do mine because they are too bushy to wait for waxings.

onepieceoflollipop · 01/12/2007 21:24

I overdid one once but fortunately it grew back!

I like doing it but you need a good mirror in good light of course to get the tiny ones that have just started to grow out of line.

SantasLittleToiletFlusher · 01/12/2007 21:24

Whenever I pluck my eyebrows it makes me sneeze. God knows why.

paulaplumpbottom · 01/12/2007 21:25

I never do mine, I get a wax every two weeks. You have to leave that sort of thing to the proffesionals

FrayedKnot · 01/12/2007 21:25

Waxing is the only way for me. They are very prolific and I cna;t keep up with pluckign. I get bored and end up lopsided.

southeastastra · 01/12/2007 21:26

mine are bushy, i suppose i should get a professional to do them

OP posts:
onepieceoflollipop · 01/12/2007 21:33

I got a professional to do mine once, just to confirm to me I wasn't doing too badly. Since then I have used tweezers.

southeastastra · 01/12/2007 21:37

yes but then you have to rely that the professionals know what they're talking about don't you

OP posts:
paulaplumpbottom · 01/12/2007 21:41

Well you wouldn't just go anywhere. Find out where you friends/local celebrities go.

southeastastra · 01/12/2007 21:46

i don't have any local celebrities

OP posts:
pukkapatch · 01/12/2007 21:49

get them threaded professionally.
costs three pounds in tooting

FrayedKnot · 01/12/2007 21:51

Lol at local celebs

My nearest one is Vic Reeves afaik

paulaplumpbottom · 01/12/2007 21:51

Don't go where he does

expatinscotland · 01/12/2007 21:52

i'm 45 miles away from a city, much less 'local celebs'.

people who get an ASBO are considered local celebs in town, but even that is 12 miles away.

janeite · 01/12/2007 21:55

Makes me sneeze too - thought it was just me being weird, so glad I'm not alone in this.

OP posts:
southeastastra · 01/12/2007 22:21

i wish i'd left mine alone , i think i suit the bushy look . it isn't like a ten year face lift to me. i look younger with my eyebrows

pukkapatch · 02/12/2007 22:51
