I ordered my first item from there the other day. Only because it was heavily reduced or I wouldn't have. Does anyone buy from there? Is it good / long lasting?

Refunds are slow ime. I do miss their lovely jersey dresses that they seem to have forgotten now. It's way more pricey too than used to be. QVC sell since items and John Lewis stock if you want to try on or order a different way.

I love the quality of their clothes and their ethics. I don’t always find the fit great but can find gems every season

I love their stuff, but found that returns are painfully slow. I bought a lot of JOhn Lewis and Baukjen at the same time (to try on several sizes). JL refunded in days - it was a month for Baukjen! I had to keep chasing by email. It actually has put me off ordering from them again.

Just FYI really, but you can now buy Baukjen at John Lewis, so you will get the benefit of their online sales and return platform instead of Baukjen’s own one.

(I have bought a bit from them, and am generally very happy with the quality. I have also had to use their returns system though when they simply sent me entirely the wrong item once - so annoying!)

Be aware though that you can't use the 15%off codes (that are always available via various influencers) at John Lewis, only on their website
As I said above, if you email them your tracking number they refund you immediately. I've never waited more than a few days for a refund by taking that approach

The item I wanted was sold out at John Lewis or would have bought from there

It has been dispatched. I have also bought a sale cardigan (not baukjen) to go with it.

I hope it fits now.

Refunds are slow - or in one case I had - non existent.

Refunds are quick if you ring and provide them with the tracking number a few days after you send it back. When they check that it’s been posted back, they take your word for what you have returned and refund you then and there.

I hope it fits well and it doesn't come to that.

Glad you like it ActonSquirrel it is a lovely dress. I’ve also got the blouse in the same fabric and wear that loads. The fabric doesn’t crease at all. I hope we get some nice weather soon so I can wear my dress 😀
