Would you use out of date hair dye?

Not me. I have chronic hives at the mo so would worry about a reaction.

Do a patch test.

Yes, because the user by date is just a guideline and that's not very far out anyway. You're talking about hair colour, not seafood! It seems very unlikely to me that the product would have degraded in a way that would be dangerous in that time.

Hair dye has a use by date????? I never knew that. So yes I would if it was in the cupboard....
