Covering up insect bites on legs- kind of urgent?

Going to a wedding today and my holiday-amassed insect bites are glaringly on show. Fully aware everyone is looking at the beautiful bride, but god, they look AWFUL.

I have a mixture of foundations that I use for contouring so I was thinking of making a blend to cover them?

Otherwise are there any wonder products I can buy from a large boots?

I know there is an airbrush product by Sally something (tights in a can? Instant tights?) but I am worried of this just adding shimmer to the bastards rather than covering.

Many thanks!

Airbrush legs by Sally Hansen should cover them.

Oh - you have my sympathy- I get bitten to death and it’s awful. I’d be careful about putting chemicals/make up on them though, in case they get infected. Could you try some sheer tights? It’s not that warm at the moment. You can get toeless tights if you’re wearing sandals.

I am wearing open toe shoes and really hate nude tights so I think I’d rather bare them 🥲

Fortunately they are not weeping or bleeding, just at the scabby stage with some very white scar tissue (I have olive skin). Thank you though!

Any suitable maxi dresses in your wardrobe?

But other than that I would opt for tights. Wouldn't want to risk transfer.

Airbrush legs! That’s the one. Not instant tights Smile

Yeah? I am so worried about highlighting them!

Failing that smart wide trousers.

Afraid I’m at a hotel with just one dress and matching accessories. I was hoping they’d magically heal in one night.

It looks so bad because of the scar tissue. I have olive skin so the scabby white patches are very visible.

Any shops that will open early enough?

Go to the nearest place as soon as poss & see what there is. Chemists, clothes shops, beauty counters. Wear tights and take them off/ change later when the light is fading.

Other than that position a small child in front of you at all times!

Suprima · 21/08/2021 10:47

Many thanks all! I have airbrush legs!

Don't put tights on top. That will irritate them. Put your bite cream on first, rub it in and let it absorb, then the airbrush legs.
